Tonight I had the pleasure of watching Les Miserables with my friend Chris.
I went prepared with tissues because having watched the musical several times and cried, I reckoned the film would definitely start a flow of tears!
I loved watching it on the big screen and the whole visual look of the film.
Hugh “the voice” Jackman was perfect for the part of Valjean and Russell Crowe as Javert worked really well.
There were no tears until after the barricade scene when Inspector Javert placed his medal on the young boy.
I quietly dabbed my eyes trying to make sure no-one was watching me.
I was composed right up until the death scene of Valjean. Then having looked at Chris and saw her crying I also started crying, luckily I had tissues!
If you have watched the musical you will enjoy the movie, if not, it may not be to your liking.
The experience of watching this film was made much so much better knowing @RussellCrowe had tweeted me a few weeks before offering to share his body with myself and a friend. I am so easily pleased!
