I Am Fractured

Shadows whisper where the light should be,
Every scar a hidden history.
I tried to speak but my voice was erased,
A thousand truths buried under shame.

I wear the silence like a chain,
A broken mirror calling my name.

I am fractured, but I am still alive,
Pieces scattered, still I try to survive.
You see the damage, but not what it cost,
I am fractured… but I’m not lost.

Bruises fade but the echoes remain,
Heavy hands left their mark on my name.
You turn away like it’s easier to do,
But the weight I carry still bleeds through.

I wear the silence like a crown,
But even shattered, I won’t bow down.

I am fractured, but I am still alive,
Pieces scattered, still I try to survive.
You see the damage, but not what it cost,
I am fractured… but I’m not lost.

I am fractured, but I am still alive,
Pieces scattered, still I rise.
You see the damage, but not what it cost,
I am fractured… but I’m not lost.

Every crack is a story, every wound has a song,
You can label me broken, but you won’t prove me wrong.
In the ruins I’m standing, though the world turned away,
I am fractured, but I’ll never decay

Fractured… but not gone.
Fractured… still I go on.
