Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again? Unfortunately at this moment in time this is how my job makes me feel. There is a fair amount of change taking place in the NHS with some colleagues moving on, some taking early retirement and others yet to find out their fate. I know my fate and it is with the new Commissioning Support Unit. Don’t get me wrong I am so looking forward to starting my new role which will include digital and social media but nervous about how I will manage the split in working for one of the local CCGs as well. I am grateful for still having a job and just hope I don’t end up like a house of cards, with one gust of wind and I will cave in.

Very true words. I think we feel like that working in the NHS at the moment
Hi Val, great start to your blogging career! You say the things that so many people are feeling. There is a great sense of hope in your writing. It reminded me of this little film from @docmikeevans http://bit.ly/UOXj26 He talks about the 90:10 rule; in times of big transition, 10% is about the actual situation, the structures, roles etc and 90% is about how we respond to the situation. I look forward to reading lots more blogs from you as you progress in your CSU/CCG career. BW Helen Bevan
Thanks very much Helen for your kind words. Felt quite nervous writing it. I love @docmikeevans videos and referenced another one today in my second blog. I think I am going to enjoy blogging and the new challenges coming my way.
