Well these last 3 months has seen…
- When I started this it was lockdown in Wales ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ and Tier 3 in Greater Manchester ๐ฌ๐ง
- Crowd-funded a few more books projects through Unbound๐
- Had a new mattress delivered ๐ด
- Ordered goodies from Betty’s tea room by post ๐ฐ๐ง #cheekyrascals
- Hubster is now my personal hair stylist with his trusted shaver ๐ฑโโ๏ธ
- Received a thank nomination from the Manchester COVID-19 Recovery Peer Support Group at the Spirit of Manchester Awards ๐
- Reported more fly tipping to Oldham Council ๐
- Been enjoying McVities chocolate digestives too much! ๐ #dunkability
- Still plenty of drinking water ๐ฆ
- Taken part in several trustee meetings and an AGM working with VCSE organisations across Manchester
- Going out to Sunday lunch and supporting local and GM restaurants ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ฅฉ๐ฅจ Well until we could!ย
- Still trying to achieve some sort of work-life balance ๐
- Signed two government petitions for free school meals and adding Makaton to school curriculum ๐
- Still drinking black coffee โ
- Hubster received his date for his pacemaker to be replaced in 2021 โค
- Started using duolingo app to learn Welsh ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ again
- Attended my first titty check screening programme appointment ๐ yep reached that age! #greatskinIknow #allclear
- Enjoyed working away from home in a secret venue ๐ #thankyou
- Still getting annoyed at people wearing face coverings under their nose ๐
- I love scrambled eggs on toast… and I still love toast! ๐
- 5 November went into lockdown in England and there was fireworks ๐
- Hubster built and fitted a new back garden gate and new outside security light ๐ฆ
- Bought a desk riser to put laptop on to reduce stress on wrists โจ
- I may become a bat ๐ฆ start work in the dark and come home in the dark
- Upgraded my mobile ๐
- Not feeling very resilient at times ๐ช
- Started following Brian Blessed on twitter and listening to his podcast bedtime stories ๐ง
- Still drinking Malbec ๐ท
- Joe Biden and Kamala Harris voted in ๐บ๐ฒ
- Became a member of FC United โฝ๏ธ #givingback
- Still buying face coverings ๐ท
- I became an Antibiotic Guardian ๐ and made a pledge
- Started using lemon oil aromatherapy to help with anxiety
- Carried on with Christmas gift shopping online ๐
- Enjoyed the hubster’s home-made sausage rolls
- Understanding there is strength in vulnerability
- Had a Sunday morning drive to Hebden Bridge and came home with ox cheek and Morocco goat burgers #workrelated
- Came out of lockdown and back into Tier 3 ๐ท
- In awe of MHCC, MCC, MLCO and primary care colleagues who mobilised both mass COVID-19 vaccinations and mass COVID-19 testing across the city whilst still delivering day jobs! #acronymalert
- Remembering Dad on his birthday
- Made Mum cry with an early Christmas parcel from us #oopsbuttearsofjoy ๐ญ

- Said goodbye to two volunteers who will be remembered for their support and hard work in wanting to make a difference for all patients
- Enjoyed leaving do for Dan online and drunk too much red wine, had to lie down whilst still on call #horizontaldrinking ๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท๐ท
- Helped out at COVID-19 vaccination site ๐ฆบ
- Wales and England lockdown and Tier 4 for Christmas ๐
- Got my COVID-19 vaccination ๐
- Stayed at home for Christmas ๐ and the hubster cooked #nomnom
- Eat, drink, sleep, repeat – this was my Christmas day ๐๐ท๐ด
- Carried on helping out at COVID-19 vaccination site and welcomed a much bigger pool of wonderful volunteers ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
- So no Wales for Christmas, most probably be Easter ๐ฃ by the time I get home!
- January has been a whirlwind for me – good days and not so good days but balanced out beautifully by all the new volunteers I have met, chatted and laughed with.
