Fabulous February πŸ’•

Well February arrived in a blur of what was January… a busy month supporting volunteers and driving around the city again and again!

Our volunteers have been absolutely amazing and supported the COVID-19 vaccination sites through snow, sun, rain, wind and minus temperatures.

I also decided to find myself a private dentist and get my teeth sorted. The Vallance Dental Centre has been great and following some work, I now have my smile back. Thank god for face coverings.

Getting new teeth was my birthday pressie to myself plus a nice curry!

Learning to eat and chew again not as easy as you think but a good start to lose some weight!

I have upgraded the hubster with a new pacemaker, change of battery and all good.

Resilience dipped a lot this month, tears, stress and chocolate 🍫

Spoilt by the hubster for Valentine’s Day and a lovely meal cooked at home πŸ’•
Literally went head over heals on same day downstairs into living room, a bit like a tumble tot!

Considering a new tattoo when we eventually get back to Santorini and catching up with Wendy and Bunny. Feel free to share or suggest any designs!

Had a very nice birthday and lovely pressies. Thanks to @roodle_pipski for introducing me to the Cake Box shop, amazing egg free cakes by the slice! So light and fluffy…

Boris announced his roadmap out of restrictions and may eventually get home to Wales before Easter 🐣

We had two holidays booked in April and May but had to cancel them both now πŸ˜” #staycation

Just waiting for when we can go roaming around the UK, got a few long weekends of relaxation to catch up on.

Another big change in the NHS is taking place, just hoping we can learn from previous organisational changes and remember the following – kindness, compassion and fairness. I am allowed to dream.

13 years in the NHS and compared to some people, it is not that long! Time to think about my future, my work-life balance and maybe my next challenge πŸ€”
